Last week, with the end of publicity period, ZHEJIANG JNDIA PIPELINE INDUSTRY CO., LTD was officially declared to become a national specialized and sophisticated enterprises (or “little giants” enterprises) that produce novel and unique products, which means that the company is one step closer to build a star enterprise in the pipe fitting industry.

Established in 2008, ZHEJIANG JNDIA PIPELINE INDUSTRY CO., LTD has been known as a professional enterprise specializing in the production of pipe fittings for engineering projects, which are widely applied in many fields such as petroleum, chemical industry, liquefied natural gas, nuclear power, shipbuilding and ocean engineering, power plant boilers, paper making, water treatment, semiconductors, chips, etc. In recent years, with the intensification of the Russia-Ukraine conflict conflict, the demand for offshore LNG Carrier has increased dramatically, so JNDIA has obtained a number of bulk orders for providing pipe components for shipbuilding. Last year, as JNDIA’s products were employed by more and more new energy battery prodction enterprises, JNDIA had achieve the goal of doubling sales from the previous year to 800 million RMB.

When you walk into the factory, you can see a yard filling with over ten meters of steel pipes. “These are the raw material used for processing and manufacturing of pipe fittings. They have to be stacked in heaps due to the rapid growth of production capacity, and can be manufactured into elbows of types of standards through several steps in product processing ”, said the company’s staff. The company also frees up space in a variety of ways, including through equipment going upstairs, to meet customer demand.

Sparks can be seen everywhere in the welding workshop, where two steel plates form a standard curved shape by combination of pressing and welding operations. Subjected to polishing and grinding, these products can be assembled in petrochemical ships for offshore oil refining after they leave the factory. Wang Zhonghua, general manager of the company (JNDIA), declared that the explosive growth of business stems from the company’s courage to crack the hard nuts over the years, breaking through all kinds of harsh technical bottlenecks, addressing customer concerns, and working together to grow stronger.Years ago, Petrobras approached them through an intermediary to place an order for two much-needed high-pressure super duplex stainless steel products. This order were, due to small quantity, tight schedule and high requirements, previously rejected by the European supplier, but JNDIA was determined to take on the small business which may lose money. After many days and nights of hard work, the order was successfully completed, and since then Petrobras started a deep cooperation with JNDIA, and now the two sides have been cooperating for over 10 years.

Over the years, the bold and tough working style of JNDIA has made it gain acceptance in terms of delivery time, product stability, process, price and other aspects, and achieve many successes in material research and process innovation. (Establishing Zhejiang provincial-level high-tech enterprise research and development centre, Wenzhou city-level enterprise technology centre and Wenzhou city industrial design centre, possessing over 70 national patents, and as a setter of the Zhejiang manufacturing standard “Stainless steel butt-welded pipe fittings for ships”.)  JNDIA’s products are also receiving increasing attention from end customers, gradually subsumed into the supply system of multiple Chinese central state-owned enterprises such as CNOOC, Sinopec, and CNCEC. Last year, it was also selected into the List of CNCEC’s high-quality suppliers, the only outstanding supplier of stainless steel pipe fittings.

JNDIA will continue to deepen its efforts in the field of pipe fittings, expand its production capacity and produce sufficient varieties to form a scale effect. Besides, it promises to establish a stereoscopic warehouse and a pipe fitting supermarket to deal with the problems of urgent delivery and small order quantity for engineering customers, and to cater to more customers. Meanwhile, it will also works to  promote the extension of pipe fitting processing & manufacturing to the upstream and downstream of the industry chain according to the actual needs of the market to provide integrated solutions.
