On October 7, 2023, the Material Testing Center of Zhejiang Jndia Pipeline Industry Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as: JNDIA) officially obtained the CNAS Laboratory Accreditation Certificate granted by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). This not only marks a new milestone for JNDIA in the development process of the Material Testing Center, but also serves as a great help for JNDIA to focus on material processing and application research, continuously deepen the transformation of achievements, and increase its technical reserves.

CNAS, also known as China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment, is a national accreditation body approved by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA) and authorized to accredit certification bodies, laboratories and inspection bodies in accordance with the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Certification and Accreditation.

The Material Testing Center of Zhejiang Jndia Pipeline Industry Co., Ltd is a material testing agency established on the basis of the company’s original laboratory, covering an area of 500 square meters. It is equipped with over 50 advanced testing equipment and a professional testing team composed of 11 testing personnel and administrators, which is technically capable of conducting mechanical testing, chemical analysis, corrosion testing and micrographic examination of metallic materials.

In order to successfully obtain the CNAS Laboratory Accreditation Certificate, the company has exercised strict control over the personnel allocation, hardware construction, organizational structure, system operation, etc., and with the quality policy of “fairness, science, accuracy and efficiency”, the company has further improved the Material Testing Center to meet the CNAS on-site review in August this year in the best condition.

The review experts carried out a series of serious, fair and impartial evaluation on the impact specimen V-groove processing, low-temperature impact test, corrosion test, mechanical test, metallographic examination, hardness test, micrographic examination and other test items, and conducted a comprehensive review of the laboratory’s environment, operation system, technical capabilities and management elements. In the end, the CNAS expert group recognized the technical competence and management level of the Material Testing Center of Zhejiang Jndia Pipeline Industry Co., Ltd, and proposed suggestions for improvement to help the Material Testing Center to constantly improve.
